Marlin Coast Driving School are committed to providing patient and supportive Driver Education covering road law, practical driving, defensive driving techniques, basic car inspection and all necessary resources to drive safely and keep our families alive on the roads.

What we provide and where we provide it:

Marlin Coast Driving School provides both driving assessment and driver education (theory and practical) to employment agencies and other corporations to assist the unemployed in job seeking and corporate entities to reduce expenses associated with motor vehicle accidents.

We operate in all Cairns Districts ranging from Edmonton to Mossman, including Kuranda.  We attempt to provide Driving Lessons to fit in with your needs.

Our patient and supportive style is also conducive to assisting overseas clients to transfer their license to Australia by assisting them in adapting their driving experience to Australian conditions and law.

Operating Hours

Bookings can be made to Marlin Coast Driving School by telephoning us up to 10 pm at night, or forwarding an enquiry email at any time.

1.5 Hr Lesson and the vehicle for the driving exam $135

- $40 test fee reimbursement (payable whether you use a driving school or not Govt fee to book a test).

Marlin Coast Driving School Owners

Marlin Coast Driving School is a family operation that has been running in Cairns for just under a decade, and is now owned by Frank and Colleen Falappi.

Frank and Colleen are Cairns locals with two children. Frank is a qualified Driving Instructor, a Bachelor of Psychology and spent three years as a driving examiner at a Queensland Transport agency in remote Central Qld.

Frank has undertaken advanced driver training in both high-speed and tactical driving and slow speed manoeuvres at the Mt Cotton Driver Training facility and has over 16 years experience as a professional driver with a thorough knowledge of road law and defensive driving techniques.
